Free anime chibi-style decor game
Kawaii Home Design - Decor & Fashion Game, also known simply as “Kawaii Home Design”, is a free simulation mobile video game that lets you give rooms a cute makeover. Developed by OneSoft Global PTE. LTD., this 2D game features interior decorating and home design gameplay—allowing you to collect various items to create gorgeous styles.
Similar to Home Fantasy: Home Design Game, Kawaii Home Design offers a main campaign that has you submitting designs based on preset goals. However, the majority of the game is heavily dependent on its player community for its PvP modes and events. Thus, you can’t play this offline.
How do you play Kawaii Home Design?
In Kawaii Home Design, you play as an aspiring Home Stylist who lives in a technologically advanced world where AI companions assist you in creating designs. You aim to become one of the top designers around and to do so, you must complete your clients’ orders to the best of your abilities. The design requests can be found in your Pitch Center, where the client outlines what their requirements are.
However, take note that this game is wholly an online competitive game with its mechanics so some of it bleeds into your gameplay despite being alone as you craft your design. The client requests always have a real-time deadline. For your first challenge, you get a helpful tutorial that walks you through how to design. Simply put down the required furniture by tapping the bubbles on the isometric room.
Gameplay-wise, everything is pretty easy since there’s not a lot of customizing you need to do for each piece of furniture and you can freely move them anywhere on the given map. Half of your possible rewards for your designs will be dependent on the player community’s votes, though. It can get pretty difficult to grind for currency just to buy new furniture you can use for your submissions.
Become the most creative
All in all, Kawaii Home Design - Decor & Fashion Game is a great mobile game to try out if you’re interested in interior design games or prefer chill games that only require community voting to participate. While it can get grindy at times and doesn’t work offline, the gameplay itself is quite easy and the art style is an absolute eye-candy that appeals to those who like the anime chibi style.
